In the following privacy policy, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within our website. We collect and process personal data only based on legal provisions (General Data Protection Regulation, Telecommunications Act 2003).

As soon as you, as a user, access or visit our website, your IP address, start, and end of the session are recorded. This is technically necessary and thus constitutes a legitimate interest according to Art 6 para 1 lit f GDPR.

Contact with us

If you contact us via email (hello@coding-community.at), the data you provide to us will be stored for six months for the purpose of processing your inquiry or in case of follow-up questions. Your transmitted data will not be passed on without your consent.

Data Storage

To facilitate the shopping process and for subsequent contract processing, the webshop operator stores the IP address of the connection owner within cookies, as well as first name, last name, email, payment information, credit card number.

For contract processing, the following data is also stored with us: First name, last name, email, payment information, credit card number.

The data you provide is necessary for contract fulfillment and to carry out pre-contractual measures. A contract conclusion without this data is not possible. The collected data will not be transmitted to third parties, except for the transmission of payment data (credit card data) to the processing bank institutes/payment service providers for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the shipping company commissioned by us (transport company) which is responsible for delivering the goods, and to our tax advisor to fulfill our tax obligations.

If you cancel the shopping process, the stored data will be deleted. If a contract is concluded, all data resulting from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiration of the tax retention period (7 years). The transmitted name, address, purchased goods, and purchase date will also be stored until the expiration of product liability (10 years). Data processing is based on the legal provisions of § 96 para 3 TKG and Art 6 para 1 lit a (consent) and/or lit b (necessary for contract fulfillment) GDPR.

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any harm. We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit. If you do not wish this, you can set your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and allow this only in individual cases. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website.

Newsletter

You have the option to subscribe to our newsletter via our website. For this, we need your email address and your declaration that you agree to receive the newsletter.

If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter, your email address and your consent to receive the newsletter are required. Following the registration for our newsletter, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to confirm your registration. You can cancel the subscription at any time. Please send the cancellation to our email address: hello@coding-community.at.

Your data related to the newsletter dispatch will be deleted immediately in case of cancellation. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation, which took place based on the consent, is not affected.
